- Our alumni can access library resources physically, and they can make photocopies of printed materials available in the library in accordance with copyright regulations. Since VPN services are not yet offered to our alumni, they can also access electronic resources by visiting the library.
- Those who wish to eat at the university cafeteria can do so by presenting their METU Alumni Card at the Social Building (Sosyal Bina) during meal service hours and paying the fee.
- For updated and detailed information regarding access to the swimming pools, you can visit the web page of the Office of Swimming Pools at https://hm.metu.edu.tr/tr/odtu-mezunu.
The validity period of the Alumni Card is 4 years.
Your photo must be uploaded in accordance with the specified requirements. When uploading, you must ensure that your photo is positioned and sized to fit perfectly within the frame displayed on the page. Photos uploaded in a format that does not meet the specified guidelines may results in the rejection of your METU Alumni Card application.
The Alumni Card fee is 1,000 TL and is valid for 4 years, covering the period from 2024 to 2027.

After your Alumni Card application is approved, you will receive an email explaining the steps required to obtain your card. If you haven’t received such an email, please contact us.

After creating your account, you can access your web-based email account by visiting https://alumnimail.metu.edu.tr/. You can enter the part of your email address that excludes the @alumni.metu.edu.tr extension in the “username” field, along with your password.
