Alumni Day Rescheduled
METU Alumni Day has been rescheduled from Saturday June 30, 2018 to Saturday, September 15, 2018 considering YKS (Higher Education Institutions Examination) to be held on June 30 and July 1 by OSYM, Presidential Elections on June 24 and first round of 27th Term General Parliamentary Elections and possible second round of elections on July 8.
An application has been submitted to OSYM Examination Services Department suggesting that The Basic Qualification Test (TYT) to be held on June 30, 2018 at METU does not take place on the campus; however, it was not approved by OSYM. Based on the opinion of the University Executive Board, METU Alumni Day has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 15, 2018.
As high number of alumni stay at dormitories on and before the Alumni Day, September 15 has been scheduled as the closest date to September 21, when the dormitories open its doors for students.
